Control when, where, and how your debit card can be used with the Card Controls built into your Marblehead Bank mobile banking app.
Protect your debit card use with Card Controls. It’s easy – one switch in your mobile banking app unlocks multiple options for controlling your card.
Features & Benefits:
- Set spending limits for all debit card transactions and change it any time
- Control the types of transactions allowed, including in-store, online, mail/phone order, auto pay, or ATM
- Define up to three geographical areas where your card can be used for transactions
SET CARD CONTROLS IN 5 EASY STEPS.
- For security, turn your card off and leave it turned off until you’re ready to use it.1
- Log into your mobile banking app, turn the card on, and make your purchase or get cash.2
- Open the app and log in with your Online Banking credentials, tap the “More” icon, tap “Card Controls,” and turn your card on and off in seconds with the “Enable card for use” button. If this button is green, your card is ready to use.
- Determine which of the additional controls you’d like to activate – Location, Transaction Type, Merchant Type, and/or Threshold Amount – and follow the screen prompts.
- Once you’ve set up all your controls, log out of your mobile banking app.
1Note that if you turn your card off, any recurring transactions you’ve previously scheduled with your card will still take place.
